Zanzibar has a tropical climate. Light rain rarely stops tours, but in severe weather we will reschedule or offer a full refund. We always monitor conditions and will contact you the day before if needed.

We accept PayPal (credit/debit card via PayPal) online, or cash/bank transfer on arrival. A deposit may be required to confirm certain tours — this will be shown during the booking process.

For most tours, you can pay a deposit online and settle the balance on the day of the tour. For multi-day safaris and packages, full payment is required in advance.

Yes. Cancellations made 48+ hours before the tour date receive a full refund. Within 48 hours, we can usually reschedule without a fee. No-shows are non-refundable. Contact us on WhatsApp as soon as possible.

All prices displayed on the website are per person unless otherwise stated. Group discounts are available for 6+ people — ask us for a quote.

All prices are in US Dollars (USD). The EUR and GBP prices shown on the site are for reference only — PayPal charges in USD at checkout. Cash payments on arrival can be made in USD, EUR, GBP, or TZS.

HuShop is based in Paje, on the southeast coast of Zanzibar Island. Our shop is open Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–7:00 PM. We can arrange hotel pickups from anywhere on the island.

Yes, we offer hotel pickups for most tours and transport bookings. Please provide your hotel name when booking and we'll include the pickup in your booking details.

We recommend sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, light clothing, a small towel, and a camera. For snorkeling trips, we provide equipment. Bring cash for personal expenses and tips.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, and adventure activities before your trip.

Yes! Our team speaks English, Italian, French, and Swahili. You can contact us in any of these languages via WhatsApp or email.

Yes. We can arrange Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara safaris as fly-in packages from Zanzibar. We handle flights, accommodation, guide, and park fees.

A classic Serengeti + Ngorongoro safari takes 5–7 days. Shorter 3-day options are also available. Kilimanjaro treks range from 6–9 days depending on the route.

Tanzania's national parks are well-managed and very safe for visitors. All our safaris use licensed local operators and TANAPA-registered guides.

The best months are January–March and June–October, when the weather is driest. We can arrange climbs year-round but always advise on current conditions.

You don't need to be a professional athlete, but a good level of fitness helps. We recommend training with hikes for at least 2–3 months beforehand. Our guides are trained in altitude sickness management.
