Overview
About this trip
Tarangire National Park is famous for having the highest concentration of elephants in Tanzania during the dry season. Hundreds of elephants gather around the Tarangire River surrounded by ancient giant baobab trees — one of Africa's most iconic landscapes. Lake Manyara is famous for its unique tree-climbing lions, thousands of pink flamingos, and diverse birdlife. Together these two parks offer exceptional wildlife viewing with far fewer tourists than the Serengeti.
